This brand of ground coffee definitely lives up to its name! I used to think that Eight O’clock was the right time to wake up…but not anymore. When you pop the lid, you’re immediately overcome with the rich aroma of dark roast. Seriously, you’re tempted to eat it straight from the tin! Moreover, if you’ve grown weary of grinding beans just to get the magic brew, relax…just pop-a-top my friend and prepare to enjoy! I highly recommend the Melitta drip coffee method for the preparation, since this coffee will only be as good and pure as the water you start out with.

hey, i enjoy exotic, batch roasted, regionals and estate grown too, BUT…
when you want to default to convenience and quality, this can’t be beat. flavorful, good medium roast, and super priced for decent coffee. gratuitous suggestions: for great, whole bean columbia supremo, costco rules, either their own brand or jose’s, whatever they’re stocking that week. and for wonderful, personal attention to estate and exotics, st. ives in georgia, ed thelenius master roaster, or “our coffee barn” in wisconsin (good web sites, too). enjoy.

I had been trying different coffees and was happy to find this product. I ordered the medium roast and found it full flavored and takes less coffee to brew so that makes the price even better.

The Melitta Columbian coffee is all that I will drink. I bought it for the first time at BigLot and with the first cup realized that I was going to continue to buy it in the future. Every pot I have made is excellent.
