These filters effectively prevent grounds from falling into percolated coffee, but the 2-4 cup Farberware pot is fairly effective in doing that without a paper filter. The main advantage of these filters is in disposing of the grounds. Personally, I have no problem with a few grounds at the bottom of my coffee mug, but if that kind of thing bothers you, these filters should resolve that issue satisfactorily.

These filters fit, but I still found grounds in the bottom of my perculator. I went back to brewing without them and saw no real difference. Why bother using them? Save your money.
